Hello, and welcome to my official website! My name is Boarteeth, and I am a furry artist, streamer, and crafter from Alberta, Canada.
I specialize in semi-realistic, linework-focused artwork of the more monstrous variety. My goal is to appeal to people with a taste for the 'toothier' type of art and bring their characters and ideas to life in a way they feel represented. My artwork is a sandbox for people to explore many kinds of settings, dynamics, and themes that do not reflect their own reality.Desktop view is highly recommended.

Convention Badges

Convention badges are a piece of art that has someone's character and preferred name on it. They are popular to wear at conventions. Consider it a fancy, furry-themed "Hello, my name is_".Badge prices include con delivery (if I am attending), and printing/laminating costs. If you need to have your badge mailed for whatever reason, you are responsible for mailing costs (please contact me for a shipping quote)If you lose or damage your badge, I am happy to reprint it for the cost of materials and shipping.All badge prices are fully rendered; cheaper options are available if you prefer flat colours.

Prices vary depending on level of finish, amount of character in the commission, and any extras. To keep things easy to find, I have compiled my commission services and prices below

Monochrome Sketches

Monochromatic, loose, sketches with a solid fill.

Coloured Sketch

Reference Sheet Commissions

All reference sheets include a custom colour palette, headshot, one close-up, eye, as well as any written details such as name, sex, traits, etc. An adult alt is included for free, if desired.IMPORTANT: All reference sheet commissions are FLAT COLOURED; shading on a reference makes it very hard for other artists to colour pick and accurately draw markings and patterns. I do not do shaded reference sheets.These prices are for 3/4 view poses, not symmetrical. I prefer not to do symmetrical reference sheets, but if you're interested in one we can work out a custom quote for you.

About the Boar

Heya!
My name is Shannon, or Boarteeth as you may know me! I am a twenty-seven year old furry illustrator, streamer, crafter, and aspiring convention vender and fursuit maker. My specialty is highly detailed, semi-realistic furry, monster, and pop-culture artworkI work part time in the furry fandom, and part time as a butcher. I am hoping to move my artwork to a full time gig within the next couple of years.I currently reside in Alberta, Canada, with my boyfriend and German Shepherds (my quality control ;3). CONTACT

- I do commission communication through discord, telegram, furaffinity notes, and email. Please do not use instagram or X/Twitter to message me, as their messaging system is prone to hiding messages, or is broken.- I reserve the right to deny or reject a commission or commissioner for any reason. I reserve the right to reject any subject matter, even if it’s something I have drawn before.- I have the right to deny commissions to and blacklist returning customers who have behaved inappropriately- You must be 18 years or older to commission me. No exceptions.- Inappropriate or overly sexual behaviour, bullying, threats, harassment, name-calling, etc is not allowed. Any sort of abuse will result in a refund and you being blacklisted from ever commissioning me again.- Please understand I have a job, social life, and responsibilities that take time away from me working on commissions and replying to messages 24-7.- Commission completion time is estimated at 2-12 weeks, though I aim to have them completed as quickly as possible. I am happy to provide updates whenever requested, and I will also keep in touch with your commission status as well. Please see my Trello for my current queue, it is updated everyday.- Please do not commission me if you do not like my art style. I specialize in semi-realism and highly detailed work. I do not draw cartoony or chibi-like. I will not draw like another artist or heavily alter my style.

COMMISSION PROCESS

- Please have reference images or a neatly assembled bullet-form list of your character details. Please refrain from sending me paragraphs of unnecessary information unless relevant to the commission. Lots of text to sift through means important details are missed.- Not having a reference image may be subject to additional fees, depending on character complexity (something straight forward like a white wolf = no charge, having to design the character for you = extra charge)- Overly complex character designs will be subject to additional fees- Excessive changes, especially if you forgot or left out details in your original idea, or want different things than originally asked for, are subject to additional fees. Please be clear and concise with what you are asking for.- Understand that at a certain point in the drawing, changes become extremely difficult. To make this simple, once you approve a stage (sketch, lines, colour), changes for the previous stage are no longer able to be done. Small things such as colour tweaks, adding glasses/piercings, etc, are fine. It is your responsibility to make sure you’re satisfied or ask for changes before approving a stage!- Details or errors that I have made or missed will be fixed promptly for free at any point in the drawing process. Don't be afraid to tell me!- Alt layers that affect lineart or require extra drawing are subject to additional fees. Alt layers that can easily be added overtop of a drawing are free.- Extra panels are subject to additional fees- Please do not edit, distort, or redline my work-in-progresses unless I ask.- I do not accept commissions of other people’s characters unless express permission has been given, or it is very clear you both know each other (or I know both of you!)- I do not do private commissions (ones I do not share to my galleries), as a portion of my sales derive from sharing completed artwork.- Anonymous commissions (I use a different alias or do not credit your screenname when posting) are allowed.- Artistic freedom is allowed, if I know you well enough, or for portions of your commission (asking me to pick a pose, or which one of your characters, etc).- I do not do rush order commissions or strict deadlines. The exception to this is convention badges.- To prevent burn-out, I do work on personal pieces and merch in-between or around commissions.- You are paying me for a service. I want you to enjoy the final product and the experience. Don’t be afraid to ask for changes or tell me if you’re not 100% liking the direction the art is going!

GALLERIES AND POSTING

- I have the right to post and share completed artwork to any of my galleries or socials. I also have a right to use completed commissions on promotional materials, ads, and examples.- You have the right to use or post your completed commission on any of your galleries or socials, with credit to me as the artist.- Do not remove or edit my watermark or signature out of the commission- You may color sketches or lined commissions, or get another artist to. Keep in mind that if you request a refund in full, you no longer have the rights to the art, or to edit or finish forfeited commissions.- I will not duplicate commissions for print/merch sales without your express permission.- I am happy to provide the .clip or .psd for you to colour sketches or linework commissions- You may print or use commissions for your personal use. Mass producing to sell or make profit off of my artwork, without purchasing the rights to do so, is not allowed.
- I keep files forever. If you lose your files, I will be happy to send you a new one.- Using my artwork for AI, “NFTs” or blockchain related things is prohibited.- I do not consent to my artwork or characters being used on f-list or other similar websites (exception: you commissioned the piece/are the character owner)

MERCH AND CONS

- If you purchase something and it breaks within three months, I am happy to replace the item or refund you.- If an untracked item gets lost, I will offer a free replacement or refund- Tracked shipments being lost are the mail carrier’s responsibility and we will need to create a dispute with them.- I am not liable to replace shipments that have been stolen after delivery (porch pirates, etc)- I do not offer refunds or exchanges for buyer’s remorse- I do not offer refunds or exchanges if you lose your purchase- Any adult-oriented items will require id to purchase at conventions. No exceptions.

SHIPPING

- All commissioned artwork is made digitally and does not require shipment of goods.- The exception to this is convention badges. In the case of some conventions, I will hand-deliver your badge. For take-home badge orders or anything that requires mailing, you as the commissioner are responsible for shipping costs. Supplies are included in the price of a badge commission.- Badges can be remade if you lose or break your’s. I will charge a supply fee of $15 as well as shipping.

STREAMING

- If possible I like to stream while I work. You may opt out of this if you don’t want me to stream your commission. Please note that joining a stream mid-work does not mean I’ll stop what I’m currently doing to work on your piece. I also do not schedule streams and can’t guarantee I’ll be working on your piece when you’re able to attend- Speed painting and time lapses are a free service I offer. It is not guaranteed. Due to hardware and time restrictions speedpaints may not be recorded at all, or may not be edited and posted for some time. I will ask you for permission before recording your commission to use as a speedpaint, and I will credit you as the character owner and the artists of any of your ref images in the video. All music is chosen by me!- Please keep hot topics such as politics, furry drama, or venting out of the stream chat. Do not use my chat to gossip about others. Hateful speech is not tolerated at all.
